Diagnosed December 2022. I have a PhD in exercise physiology and spent almost forty years building software for exercise testing and wellness programs — and none of it told me what to do the week I got the news. Guide Star is what I wanted then: a straight answer to "now what," for me and the people who love me.
Before Guide Star, I spent close to forty years building software for exercise testing, health risk assessment, and wellness program management — the same kind of work, applied to a diagnosis I now live with myself. I'm not a physician, and Guide Star isn't a replacement for one; it's built by someone who needed exactly this and couldn't find it.
I'm still moving, still working, and still training against Parkinson's rather than around it. Guide Star Health is that same approach, built into a companion for anyone else asking "now what."
